The Western Capitalism, Its Grass Roots and Impact on World

Our educational system unfortunately is also a part from the capitalism; just ponder what kind of education is provided to the students of the most prestigious colleges and universities of world. Where from these capitalists do come? Where they have been produced? A week before I saw some students of Oxford University staging protest for solidarity with Israel, did they for God sake forgot what Israel has done to Palestine over the years, not only this there were many students across Europe who were inspired to join the ISIS a bloody terrorist organisation.

In the name of Allah the most gracious and merciful, peace and blessings be upon all Prophets especially the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family).

Initially looking and letting ours eyes meet with the current phenomenon of westernisation, there arises a need to understand and get equipped with some sort of terms and things as well. Wherever you go no matter which job or service you will prefer for yourself you are gonna directly or indirectly face the heat of capitalism. A question arises what is capitalism? And why we need to be concerned about so? I will not surpass the theories of great intellects regarding the capitalism but as mentioned in the heading we will try to see its origin and will continue studying its influence on the different systems of the world.

As we are familiar with the Age of Renaissance in Europe which resulted in the eradication of authority of church or religious community. But straight after the movement what was experienced was nothing less than a nightmare for humans living in that period. The authority was taken and handed over to common people who builted, designed, engineered plans by their own and thus shaped the world with their utmost thoughts. The explanation was put forward by itself when many revolutions occurred in most parts of Europe with likes of Industrial revolution in Britain and the French revolution in France. The world at that time was gifted with unimaginable technology and still majority of the world’s population praise the movement. Many things were invented, unknown places were discovered, and scientific thinking saw its path and ran for its development. In short words Europe now was not darling to the Dark Age. They did not resist themselves on this but carried their work to other fields as well, in order to sow the seeds of capitalism they saw the requirement of changing the mindset of people regarding their self and thus they interfered in the psychological and philosophical discussions. Saying good bye to religion and going with warm welcome for their scattered thoughts they accordingly understood man in their own perceptions and whatever they deduced about man they architectured their ideology, society and culture. Many philosophers among them based their theories upon the needs of man, but unfortunately their study in this arena tuned violent when they put forward that sex and materialism are only inborn tendencies of man. So if there was anything left by movement holders in the quagmire the later comers fulfilled that leaving behind the system which would engulf whole world for materialistic purposes.

When we turn pages of philosophical, political books we come to know that capitalism is a political or economic system in which a country’s trade ad industrial firms are controlled by private owners for profit, and what their profits are I do not need to discuss upon it, the world is and has already witnessed its outcome which made millions homeless and jobless as well. What kind of system is this where the entire resource of country is handled by few capitalists and without any propagation from public? The world has seen lot of systems evolving and then declining but the said system with all evil support is growing wider and making its mark deeper. This is not the system in fact it is the problem of era. This is problem and the issue which the people should be concerned about, don’t we see the extract of the so called western capitalism affecting our youth, our society, our systems. There is no corner of world left where the evil capitalism is expected to be absent.

Now coming to the contemporary era, there is no doubt nor do I shiver in saying that terrorism is the biggest, gigantic problem of this era. But if you do a knowledge based analysis, logic-based, intellect-based analysis with complete research then there cannot be any result except that whenever terrorism existed on earth, and especially the current terrorism is not the gift from any religion, any spiritual institution but a loan from capitalism. The so called western capitalism has succeeded to turn religion into industry and giving rise to the brutal terrorist organisations which are wholly and solely backed by the capitalists.

Who are presently working for Taliban, Al-Qaida? And who are fuelling the tensions across world? The answer is simply the products of educational system.

The world has to wake up from the dream of capitalism just like the American citizens did and are continuing, I just want to remind you the movement “OCCUPY WALL STREET” which instilled so much revolutionary fervour in the American people. The American govt. tried to show the movement as insignificant and they are still trying to do so. Within two or three weeks after the movement began, the very same gentlemen who claim that freedom of expression is necessary, and are supporters of freedom of expression showed their true colours which were painted by capitalist ideology. At that time among all the important newspapers in the US, only one newspaper published the report on that movement, while as rest stayed silent indicating the media has already been sealed by capitalists. The people who were there the many thousands of people who gathered on Wall Street in New York, and in other cities and states of America. One issue that triggered the movement was that the corruption of the capitalist system had become tangible and visible to the people of USA. The govt. might have managed to suppress that movement by force, but they couldn’t destroy the roots of the movement. Sooner or later that movement will grow in power to the extent that the capitalist system in America and West will be completely razed to ground. The brutality of the corrupt capitalist system is not just limited to the people of Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria and other deprived countries. The system even doesn’t show mercy to its own people. The people in that thousand strong demonstrations and protests in New York carried placards which read, “We are 99%”. This means that 99% of the American people, the overwhelming majority of the American people are condemned to follow the other one percent. The wars against Iraq, Syria and Afghanistan are waged by the 1%, but the remaining 99% had to suffer the causalities and pay the costs. That is what awakened the people and mobilized them. The way the govt. confronted the movement is also noteworthy from concealing the truth to using extremely repressive measures, both in America and certain European countries. In England, brutality was so much that you would not see even one tenth of such repression in a backward country ruled by a dictatorial regime. These are the same administrations who advise others to adopt the methods of the capitalist system.

Today, the capitalist system is at the dead end. It may take years for such movements to reach its final conclusion, but the crisis is in full swing.
