Karachi:At least 80 people have been killed and 150 others wounded in an explosion in Lahore’s Gulshan Iqbal Park. Rescuers say they have ferried the wounded to the Jinnah Hospital, Shaikh Zayed Hospital and other nearby hospitals. An emergency has been declared in all hospitals of the provincial capital.

The area has been cordoned off. Police say they are trying to determine the nature of the blast.

Employees of the park say the park was packed with people since it was Sunday and Easter Day.
