Kashmir and Palestine are two of the most conflicted  zones in the world right now. The chaos that is prevailing in these two regions is ineffable. Despite all the sufferings, the two regions have always supported each other in their cause. They have raised their voices against the brutal oppressors. Although Palestine and Kashmir are separated by a huge distance (in terms of territory) but they share a  common fate i.e. they are both victims of oppression. Oppression here works as a magic link which unites the people of these two nations. The relationship between these two regions is just like the love between two lovers which surpasses all boundaries .The people of the two regions feel and share the pain of each other. In-spite  of all hardship, the will and belief  of the people of these two regions is unshakable. It seems like the longing for freedom grows even stronger with each blow.

On 7th May 2021 when Palestinian worshippers were praying inside  Al- Aqsa mosque, the terrorists forces of Israel stormed in and attacked the worshippers with bullets and tear gas shells. More than 170 persons were injured. Even children were not spared by the evil forces of Isra-Hell. With blood spilled everywhere, the worshippers were forced to retreat .

The war crimes of Israel continues and as usual the so called peacekeeper (UNO) of the world  keep on watching. A statement and a false sympathy is all the watchdog offers. Lets be honest with ourselves. If UNO really wanted peace in the world, they could have resolved these conflicts easily. But that’s not the case .Looks like those who are dominating UNO want this to continue and perhaps these conflicts serve their purpose . Several countries although raised their voices against this brutal attack on worshippers inside the Sacred mosque. And one such region was Kashmir .

All newspapers, journals, social media in Kashmir were flooded with sympathies. People of Kashmir were expressing their anguish as if it was an attack on their own people . The emotions were high. As some one puts it like this

“Bullets were Fired in Palestine

But they Pierced Hearts in Kashmir”

Kashmiris may be suffering themselves but the fact that they still care for others in need makes me feel proud to be a Kashmiri. This is the real concept of Kashmiriyat. For me What makes Kashmir a Heaven on Earth is not its sceneries, landscape bla bla but the people, their culture empathy their helping nature. I don’t know whether the voices of Kashmiris ( for themselves and Palestine) against injustice may be beneficial or not , but one thing is clear that majority of the people of Kashmir have a living conscience.
