Srinagar: In connection with the Milad un Nabi (Pbuh) ,birth anniversary of Imam Sadiq (as) and hafta Wahadat, 32nd international Islamic unity conference was held in Tehran,the capital city of Iran in which as many as 350 world renowned religious as well as political leaders including 10 ministers and 40 grand Muftis participated. In the inaugural ceremony of the 3 days long conference, Iranian President Dr. Hassan Rohni, urged the Muslim Ummah to stay United in the current circumstance. While inviting Saudi Arabia towards forging a strong bond of unity, he said that Iranian always ready to extent all possible support to safeguard the ummah.

“Iran is friend of Saudi Arabia and sympathizer of the people of Makkah and Madina and Saudi Arabia should befriend Iran instead of Israel and US,”he said. Ex Iraqi Prime Minister Noori Almaliki, ex President of Afghanistan Hamid Karzai , Religious affairs Minster of Tanzania Abdul Jaleel Salim, Deputy Chief of Hezbollah Shiekh Nayeem Essa, Grand Sunni Scholar of Iran Molvi Abdul Hameed also spoke in the conference . They stressed on the harmony of various Islamic cults and urged Muslims to fight unitedly against the anti Islamic campaigns launched by the enemies of Islam. Terming Palestine as the most sensitive issue of the Islamic world ,the orators urged the Ummah to unitedly stand against the evil designs of Israel.

The Kashmiri Seminary student of the Al Mustafa International University Howza Ilmia Qom and the Director of “Wilayat Times”,Waseem Raza Kashmiri, who participated in the conference held meetings with many internationally renowned political as well as religious leaders.

During the meetings ,Waseem Raza ,termed the centuries old religious harmony of Kashmiri people as an example for the muslims of world to follow. He said that people of Kashmir ,whether Muslims or non Muslims live peacefully. He briefed the leaders about the prevailing circumstances of Kashmir. He said Allah, the Almighty, sent the seal of Prophets (SAWW) as the mercy and benevolence for the mankind.

“Islam is a complete code of conduct. It is the fountain head of all Islamic cults. So it is our collective duty to shun controversial issues amongst us and work on the similarities for the betterment of Muslim ummah.

He said that the youth of ummah should, as ambassadors of islam meticulously work to foil the deep conspiracies of the enemies of Islam . He said that the west has launched a full fledged cold war through social media to tarnish the image of Islam and they seek to sow the seeds of discord among Muslims. So we should be very vigilant. He urged youth to work for the welfare of humanity.

Terming the sermon of Wali Faqi Imam Syed Ali Khamnie as a glaring example for Muslims to follow, he said that it is the foremost responsibility of the thinkers, Ulma and youth to put in their best for strength of unity .He said that the resolution of all the problems and issues facing the ummah lie in the teachings of the prophet of Islam.
