Srinagar | WTNS | Jan 31:Strongly condemned act of desecration of the Holy Quran by a right-wing extremist in Sweden and Netherlands, Maulana Waseem Reza Kashmiri, an Islamic scholar of Jammu and Kashmir, said that carrying out such acts under the banner of freedom of expression is a clear sign of Islamophobia & extremism.

In his condemning statement reaching here, Kashmiri dwelled Islamic Scholar studying in Jamiat Al-Mustafa (S) Al-Alamiya of Howza Elmia Qom Iran, Waseem Reza, termed dishonouring the Revealed book “ The Holy Qur’an” as visibility of Islamophobia. Such blasphemous acts are taking place when the western world claims to have given every respect and privileges to the freedom of expression the reality is the converse paradox. They openly permit extremism such acts which are hazardous to the people by provoking them for war after the religious book is burnt on surfaced on social networks which reveals the double policy to befool people.

The statements reads more, that Such blasphemous acts like burning of The Holy Qur’an is actually maligning the global peace, communal harmony, knowledge and wisdom which reflects the dual policy of government and an anti- Islamic move. We urge upon international community to take measures to prevent prejudice, racism, desecration of holy scriptures and religions, otherwise there will be serious effects on world peace and mutual tolerance. The holy Qur’an has the stories of Ibrahimic religions and every prophet of all times, so it is a sheer dishonorable again well , it is the revealed book.

Cleric appealed all peace-seekers across globe to stand by Muslims in confronting the wicked plot of insulting sanctities and hate.
