New Delhi:Representative of Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Syed Ali Khamanei for Indian Sub-Continent Hojatul Islam Wal Muslimeen Haaj Aqai Mahdi Mahdavipour has expressed grief and shock over the sad demise of the Prominent Islamic Scholar of Kargil and Founder of Imam Khomeini Memorial Trust (IKMT) Moulana Sheikh Mohammad Hussain Zakriri and has paid rich tributes to the deceased soul.

Among the Believers are men who have been true to their covenant with Allah: of them some have died and some (still) wait: but they have never changed (their determination) in the least. (Surah Al-Ahzab, Ayah 23)

The news of the passing away of the Combatant Scholar Hojjat al-Islam Shaykh Muhammad Husain Zakiri Kargili,the founder of the Imam Khomeini (R.A.) Memorial Trust in Kargil have deeply grieved us.
He was a pious scholar and who preached Islam without getting tired and sincerely struggled in the cause of Islam. During the Islamic Revolution in Iran he fully realized the guiding spirit of the revolution which is to revive the true and real Islam that is the Seerah of the Holy Prophet (Pbuh) and the Infallible Ahlul Bayt (Pbut). In this cause in order to defend the teachings and ideals of the great personality of the present era Hazrat Imam Khomeini (R.A.) he undertook great steps and established the Imam Khomeini (R.A.) Memorial Trust in Kargil and preached the teachings, spiritual path and the political stance of that great personality in the region and he was successful in imbibing the values of the Islamic Revolution in Iran among the people of the region.
In this regard he along with a group of dedicated Ulama carried out outstanding efforts with selfless courage and sacrifice till the last breath of his life.
Late Zakiri lived a very pious and abstemious life and earned his living with his toil and hard work in agriculture and always struggled in expanding the religious and revolutionary activities among the people of the region.

He closely followed the Leaders of the Muslim Ummah Hazrat Ayatullah al-Uzma Syed Ali Khamenei and always remained steadfast and even for a moment he did not doubted in his cause and was ready to sacrifice his being in this noble way.
Late Zakiri fully supported the ongoing movement of the reverend Ulema and hardworking and respected people of Kargil in creating unity and harmony among the masses of the region and he guided the Imam Khomeini (R.A.) Memorial Trust to fully support this Movement for Unity.
He always stressed about the need of the unity and harmony in the Kargil society in particular between the Ulema of the region.
I hope all the members of the Imam Khomeini (R.A.) Memorial Trust will continue this movement until its ultimate results are attained and any move which may tarnish the unity and harmony will be avoided. I hope they will also safeguard the values of the Islamic Revolution and teachings of Imam Khomeini (R.A.) and the Supreme Leader Hazrat Ayatullah al-Uzma Khamenei within the framework of unity and absorbing everybody for creating the unity.

I convey my heartfelt condolences on the passing away of this old aged combatant to all the reverend Ulema and the pious and revolutionary people of Kargil and all his associates and colleagues in the Imam Khomeini (R.A.) Memorial Trust, all his family members and relatives and pray Almighty Allah to shower His blessings and mercy on the departed soul and grant patience and reward to all his family members.
