Srinagar | WTNS | Nov 13:A residential house was completely damaged in a fire mishap in central Kashmir’s Budgam District on Friday.

Eye witnesses told Wilayat Times that a residential house belonging to prominent Islamic scholar and writer Aga Syed Abdulhussain Mosavi at Shariat Abad Budgam was completely damaged in a fire mishap at around 5 am this morning.

In the mishap, a residential house along with home appliances, gold and cash was completely damaged while no loss of life, However, injury of Aga Syed Abdulhussain S/O:Late Aga Syed Mustafa Mosavi Budgam  has been reported, they added.

They said, “the timely action of fire tenders and locals managed to douse the flames and put the fire under control. In the mishap, the house was completely damaged”.

Officials said that exact figure of loss was not immediately known, adding that the cause of fire is being ascertained.
