Georgian Bishop visit Karbala on Arbaeen and says Imam Hussain (A.S) mentioned in the Bible

Baghdad: Reverend Dr. Malkhas Songulashvili, from Georgia, who has recently visited the holy city of Karbala, said, “Justice and Islam have been rendered victorious by the sacrifice of the great man Imam Hussain (Peace Be Upon Him).”

Songulashvili arrived in Karbala on Saturday, October 27, 2018 to commemorate the Arba’een pilgrimage to Imam Hussain (Peace Be Upon Him).

He also said he was absolutely certain that the Euphrates Slaughtered Man mentioned in the Bible is Imam Hussain (Peace Be Upon Him).

Songulashvili mentioned that he came to Karbala to kiss the holy soil and said, “I have prayed for all people, because I have found the place inspiring and encouraging.” It here to mention that Bishop speak about Imam Hussain (Pbuh) during the Arbaeen walk of 90km from Najaf to Karbala and termed the visit as course of purification.

Scholars and Members of Imam Hussain (A.S) shrine warmly welcomed the Bishop of Georgia and prayed for the betterment of Islam and Humanity.
