Qom | WTNS | June 04: On the occasion of the 36th death anniversary of the architect of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini (RA), a rare and spiritually inspired portrait created by young Iranian artist and poet Maryam Fardi at the Imam Khomeini House in the holy city of Qom captivated viewers and garnered widespread appreciation.

Wilayat Times Reports, While Speaking Maryam Fardi shared the profound emotional experience she had while creating the portrait. “As I began painting, a strange and subtle feeling emerged within me. I felt enveloped in Imam Khomeini’s spiritual presence and grace. It was as if the Imam himself was witnessing my creative process,” she said.

Iranian Poet , Artist and Art Instructor further added that the process was physically effortless and emotionally uplifting. “Surprisingly, I felt no fatigue or exhaustion throughout. Instead, I was overwhelmed by a unique passion and energy, as though an unseen force was guiding my hands in forming the features of the portrait,” Fardi remarked.

The artwork, praised for its emotional depth and artistic excellence, stood as a heartfelt tribute to the legacy of Imam Khomeini (RA) and was met with admiration from art lovers and visitors alike.

A recently unveiled rare portrait of the late Ayatollah Imam Khomeini (RA) by a renowned Iranian artist has drawn widespread admiration from both the public and diverse segments of society. The portrait, which captures the spiritual depth and historical significance of the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, was broadcast on a national TV channel earlier this week.

Maryam Fardi has been recognized for her work in multiple exhibitions in Iran.

Its here to mention that some years ago in a speech on the essence and value of art, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei highlighted art’s unique power, saying it speaks in the most eloquent language—surpassing science, ordinary speech, and preaching. He stressed the need to value and promote art daily, noting that without it, ordinary words fail to captivate or leave a lasting impression. Ayatollah Khamenei described art as a vital medium of expression and communication, capable of advancing any idea. He further says that art speaks through an eloquent language. No language is as eloquent as the language of art. Neither the language of science, nor ordinary language, nor the language of preaching is as eloquent as the language of art. A lot of importance should be attached to art, and it should be glorified on a daily basis. It is necessary to select excellent forms of art.
