Islamic Movement in Nigeria Marks the Beginning of Unity Week with a Peaceful March and Rallies

Lagos:The annual unity week (12th-17th Rabiul Auwal of the Hijirah calender) marked by Muslims world wide has commenced in Nigeria by the members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria under the spiritual leadership of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky(H).
The Unity Week convention commences in various cities with colourful parade by brothers and sisters of the Movement, to usher the beginning of the month of birthday of our Noble Prophet Muhammad (SAWA).
The event in Kano was a spectacular parad that kicked off around 9am with millions of members of the Movement in attendants.

The parade marched through major streets within the metropolitan Kano city, while well-wishers expressed their happiness on the event

The participants marched chanting songs while distributing gifts as a humanitarian assistance in honour of the birth Date of the Holy Prophet(S.A.W.A).
