Leh:Demanding restoration of Article 370, Article 35A and re-integration of Ladakh with Jammu and Kashmir, Joint Action Committee call two days Kargil Bandh from 28th to 29th August this year.

They also extended their solidarity to the people of valley and demanded the restoration of all communications and the release of all political prisoners.

As per a press release, it was decided in the meeting that complete strike will be observed in Drass, Kargil, Sanko and other areas of Kargil district on Wednesday and Thursday to show solidarity with the people of Jammu and Kashmir and against the move of removal of Article 370 to state.

While expressing resentment against abrogation of Article 370 and 35A which provides a special status to Jammu and Kashmir within Indian constitution and imposition of continued curfew and communication blockade in the Kashmir valley by BJP led government  has called for two day complete shutdown in Kargil from tomorrow.
