Kashmir conflict creation of Britain, Condition of Muslims in Kashmir painful:Imam Khamenei

Tehran:As the martyrdom anniversary of former president Mohammad Ali Rajaei and his prime minister Mohammad JavadBahonar which marks the National Week of the Government approaches, the President and members of his cabinet met with the Grand Ayatollah Imam Syed Ali Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution on August 21, 2019.

On August 30, 1981, a bomb explosion claimed the lives of top officials including the then president Rajaei and prime minister Bahonar by the terrorist group of Mojahedin-e Khalgh Organization.

Wilayat Times reports, In the final part of his remarks, Imam Khamenei referred to the issue of Kashmir, expressing his displeasure and discomfort with the situation of Muslims in the region, saying:”We have a good relations with the Government of India but the expectation from Indian establishment is to adopt a fair policy towards the noble people of Kashmir. Don’t use force over Muslim people in this region.’

The leader of the Islamic Revolution described the current situation in Kashmir and the dispute between India and Pakistan as a result of  measures of Britain’s colonialist policies while leaving the Indian subcontinent, saying that To give rise to an enduring conflict in Kashmir, the British had deliberately left this wound in the area to continue the conflict.
