Islamabad | WTNS | September 26:Pakistan has strongly condemned the killing of prominent Kashmiri lawyer and activist Babar Qadri and sought independent investigation into the incident.

Foreign Office Spokesperson Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri, in a statement, said Babar Qadri was shot dead by unidentified attackers in Srinagar yesterday. He said Advocate Syed Babar Qadri was another voice critical of atrocities and human rights violations in  Jammu and Kashmir, which has been silenced through an extra-judicial murder.

The Spokesperson said the world community must take immediate action for investigation of unabated extra-judicial killings of innocent Kashmiris through an independent international body.
