Srinagar | WTNS | Nov 28: In a strongly worded condemnation of the tragic and heart-wrenching massacre in Parachinar, Pakistan, Maulana Waseem Reza Qomi Kashmiri, a young Islamic preacher from Jammu and Kashmir, has described takfirism as the greatest threat to the Muslim world and humanity. He called the incident a brutal manifestation of savagery, accusing this faction of fomenting division, hatred, and extremism among Muslims at the behest of imperialistic powers.
In a statement issued from Qom, Iran, where he is pursuing Islamic studies at Al-Mustafa(S) International University of Howza Elmia, Maulana Waseem Reza lamented the targeting of innocent children, women, and elderly people in the Khurram district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. Labelling the perpetrators of this heinous act as enemies of Islam and humanity, Maulana Waseem Reza urged global human rights organizations and the United Nations to take immediate notice of the situation and act decisively.
Expressing solidarity and condolences with the bereaved families, he prayed for the elevated ranks of the martyrs and the strength for the victims’ families to endure this tragedy.
