Srinagar: Senior Hurriyat leader and President Jammu and Kashmir Anjuman Shari Shian Aga Syed Hasan Almosvi Alsafvi demanded capital punishment for the rape accused who tarnished the chastity of a little girl at Shadipora Sumbal of North Kashmir.

In a Statament to Wilayat Times, President Sir said that the holy month of Ramadhan teaches us how to live and spread love but in the society there are some beasts who bring a disrepute and defame the whole society.

Purpose of fasting in Islam is to attain nearness and closeness to God so that He becomes a reality in our lives.

Aga Syed Hasan said that the unfortunate incident should be probed thoroughly and stringent punishment should be given to the accused for the heinous crime. He said that the purpose of fasting in Islam is to attain nearness and closeness to God so that He becomes a reality in our lives.

He said charity and generosity is especially urged during Ramadan. “Fasting in Islam does not just consist of refraining from eating and drinking, but from every kind of selfish desire and wrong-doing.”  

Aga Syed Hassan expressed sympathy and solidarity with the victim family and urged upon state administration to take serious and effective action to bring justice to  the innocent girl.

Aga Syed Hassan assured victim family that Ajuman Sharie Shian will provide all possible and legal assistance in this matter.
