Qom | WTNS | May 15: Shaykh Hussain Ali Naqdeh dozhan Isfahani, a well-known Islamic scholar, speaker, and historian, passed away after suffering a heart attack while offering the Ziyarah at the shrine of Hazrat Abul-Fadl Abbas (Pbuh) in Iraq.
As per the reports of Wilayat Times, Hojatul Islam Wal Muslimeen Shaykh Naqdeh dozhan held several important religious and advisory roles during his lifetime. He served as an advisor to Ayatollah Ramazani, the head of the World Ahlul Bayt Assembly, and also led Shia Affairs for the organization at global level.

The funeral procession was held in the sacred cities of Najaf and Karbala attended by numerous scholars and seminarian, In the holy shrine of Imam Ali (Pbuh) the funeral was led by Ayatollah Syed Mohammad Taqi Hakeem. Late, his body was flown to Qom, Iran, where a second funeral prayer was led by senior cleric Grand Ayatollah Sheikh Jafar Subhani. He was buried in the shrine of Hazrat Fatima Masuma, a revered site in Qom.
After his passing on May 8, 2024, Hojatul Islam Wal Muslimeen Hussain Ali Naqdeh Dozhan was honoured with funeral rites in the blessed cities of Iraq and on May 15, he was laid to rest in the holy shrine of Fatima Masoumeh in Qom.
Throughout his life, Shaykh Naqdeh dozhan was dedicated to promoting Islamic teachings and supporting individuals who converted to Islam. His work earned him recognition across religious and academic circles.
Grand scholars, head of many organizations, and leaders from Iran, Iraq, and many other countries have expressed deep sorrow over his passing.
