Srinagar: Prominent Women Politician and State President of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for women’s wing, Safina Beigh termed the Bandipora incident wherein a girl was allegedly raped by her father.

In a Statement, Safina Beigh demanded time bound probe into the incident, terming it as a shocking incident.

Safina further stated such episodes in Kashmir are unfortunate and it stands the responsibility of every individual in the society to stop such crimes.

She added that police must investigate the matter thoroughly and the culprit be dealt with strictly so that such incidents will not occur in future.
