Eid is a call to deepen our bond with Almighty Allah:Moulana Waseem Reza Qomi

wilayattimes (Jammu and Kashmir)

Srinagar | WTNS | March 31:Young Religious scholar from Jammu and Kashmir studying at Al-Mustafa(S) International University of Howza Ilmiya Qom, Moulana Waseem Reza Qomi Al-Kashmiri has expressed heartfelt greetings to the whole Muslim Ummah and all the people in Jammu and Kashmir on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. His Eid message is as follows:

عید فطر آمده، ای نشسته صف اول! به عدالت برخیز
عید فطر آمادہ ، مانده بر شانه‌ی تو بار امانت برخیز

Eid al-Fitr has arrived—O you who sit in the front row, stand with justice!

Eid al-Fitr is here—O you who carry the burden of responsibility, rise to fulfill it!

On this blessed occasion of Eid al-Fitr, I extend my deepest congratulations to the entire Muslim world and all the believers in Jammu & Kashmir. The sacred month of Ramadan granted us the honor of seeking closeness to Allah through worship, fasting, Qur’an recitation, self-purification, charity, and fulfilling our religious duties. It provided us with a divine opportunity to reform both our personal and collective lives. Now, it is essential to preserve this spiritual environment so that we can build a just and virtuous society.

Yet, as we celebrate Eid, we cannot ignore the harsh realities that surround us. The Muslim Ummah faces immense trials—Palestine, Yemen, and Syria remain engulfed in oppression, while the silence and complicity of Muslim rulers deepen their suffering. Kashmir, once the land of saints and scholars, is now plagued by injustice and turmoil, threatening our identity and existence.

In these testing times, I urge my fellow believers to embrace righteousness and uphold the rights of both God and humanity. Let us recognize our duty towards the underprivileged, extending our hands in support to those in need. True piety is not just in rituals but in standing for justice and fulfilling our responsibilities toward society.

May this Eid bring peace, prosperity, and security to Jammu & Kashmir. May Allah, through the blessings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his purified progeny, remove all our hardships and strengthen us in faith and unity. Ameen.
