Grand Quranic and Unity Conference held in Budgam Kashmir,Scholars call for Unity

Srinagar:In Connection with the Milad-un-Nabi (Pbuh) and Unity Week (Haftay-e-Wahadat) a grand Qur’anic and conference was organized at Central Kashmir to promote the importance of Quranic teachings and brotherhood among Muslims.

Saif Ali reports to Wilayat Times that A Grand Quranic and Unity Conference was held at Wolina Ichgam of Budgam Kashmir by Darsgah-e-Zainabia in collaboration with Imam Khamenei Committee Wolina in which shia-sunni scholars, intellectuals and large gathering of people attended the day long event.

In the first session of Conference scores of seminaries (Makatib) from Babul ilm Ayatollah Aga Syed Yousuf Memorial Trust participated in the Qur’anic Competition of recitation. The voice of seminaries attracted the gathering with their beautiful voices. Sugra Fatima hails from Bemina Malpora got 1st Position, Rohi Jaan from Wolina got second thirdly followed by Sakeena Ali from Alipora Budgam. Students from different areas were encouraged and awarded by the said organization.

In the second session of conference, valley’s reputed religious figures shed light on the life of Prophet Mohammad (Pbuh) and the importance of Haftay-e-wahadat “Unity week” in the modern Islamic world.

Mir Shahnawaz Hussain said “Prophet Mohammad (Pbuh),the best gift from Almighty for humankind. “Our duty is to introduce the life of Holy Prophet (Pbuh) among others.

Young Kashmiri Sunni Cleric Moulana Peer Syed Ishfaq Bukhari requested the Muslim countries to get united against the dominant oppressors and promote the lifestyle introduced by Prophet of Islam.

On culmination of the conference valleys prominent Shia Scholar Hojatul Islam Wal Muslimeen Aga Syed Mohammad Haadi Al Mosavi invited the people to get attached to Holy Qur’an and make it the practical guide for day to day life. He Urged upon different schools of thoughts in Islam for unification over common things to reach the goal of success in Islam.
