Leh| WTNS| Nov 22:Froona Village witnessed a historic moment today with the inauguration of its new high school, marking a significant step in the region’s educational progress. The event, attended by students, parents, and dignitaries, began with the recitation of the Holy Quran and the national anthem.
Dignitaries, including MP Haji Hanifa Sahib and Chief Executive Councillor Dr. Jafar Akhoond Sahib, highlighted the school’s role in fostering quality education and social development. The school, equipped with modern classrooms, a library, and a computer lab, was praised as a vital resource for the community.
Speakers emphasised the importance of skill-based learning, urging students to aim for self-reliance rather than solely focusing on government jobs.
