Srinagar:Terming the recent proposal of Ministry of Home Affairs as ‘an attack on the religious affairs of Muslims’, the state Congress on Monday said that with such proposals, the current coalition PDP-BJP government especially PDP is losing their ground in the state.
Reports of KNS saying that While talking Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) Chief, Ghulam Ahmad Mir said, “The MHA proposals over controlling the Madrasas and Imams is an attack in the religious affairs of Muslims. The policies of PDP are getting exposed with each passing day.”
He said that the anti-people steps taken by the present coalition government is exposing their policies. “Such proposals can only help the government to deteriorate the situation in the Valley. The government is pushing the people of the state to get alienate from them, which is not a good sign as it can only worsen the situation,” he said.
Mir said that the tall claims of the incumbent Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti got exposed before the people. “All the promises she had done with the people of Kashmir have not been fulfilled rather she took various anti-people steps, which exposes her tall claims on the ground.”
He said that media is one among the biggest institution and it is very unfortunate the MHA is trying to put curbs on them.
