Srinagar:State Youth Congres General Secretary and Executive Member JKPCC Sheikh Aamir Rasool today strongly condemned the blanket ban on Islamic Channels in the valley and said It is against the democratic principles and against secularism and is hurting the sentiments of the people and warned Such decisions would turn the situation in Kashmir more volatile.

in a Statement to Wilayat Times,Sheikh Aamir Rasool said the constitution of India gives religious freedom to every citizen. Putting curbs on the propagation of religious teachings is unjustified . It is the violation of the religious rights of Muslims and especially when Month of Ramadan is approaching fast .

Aamir Rasool further alleged that since the present coalition government came to power in the state, RSS agenda was being implemented and Chief Minister Mehbooba has been extending all cooperation to implement the RSS agenda.

Moreover He also condemned the killing of Lt. Umar Fayaz Parray, the Kashmiri Army officer from Sadsun, Kulgam, who was found killed on Wednesday in Shopian.Youth Leader of Congress conveyed his heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family and prayed for the eternal solace of slain Army man.
