Srinagar:All India Talent Search Test 2018 was conducted by Ehsas International at its Srinagar centre of Kashmir.Test was held at Govt Polytechnic for Women Bemina Srinagar and nearly 200 students took part in it with warm zeal and fervor.
In the 2nd half of the session a career counseling program was organized with many educational experts, representatives of different colleges and social organizations. Discussions at the session centered around making the right career choice and the methodology for choosing the correct career.
While Speaking at the programme, Dr K M Rafi Director Jahangeer Abad Institute of Lucknow enlightened students about different opportunities JIT is holding for minority students especially for students from Kashmir. “We have 35 students from Kashmir already there in different courses and we encourage students from valley to join JIT for a best academic environment” he added. Approximately 200 students from various parts of Kashmir and Kargil attended the counseling .
In the session, Mrs. Fauzia Bukhari head Kashmir Education Initiative KEI while delivering her speech laid stress on how students can avail scholarships for various technical and professional courses they wish to peruse. She laid emphasis on the different scholarship opportunities KEI is providing to students and what are the ways and what procedure to follow for applying for scholarships there in KEI.
General Secretary, Ehsaas Trust International Hakim Mohammad Iliyas threw light about the activities and performance of the said trust in the year 2017.He said that we have sponsored 246 students for different engineering and medical courses in various colleges and universities and we are expecting more achievements in current year.
During the counseling session, USA based activist Bashir Ahmad Kakroo who runs an organization Kashmir Peace Network in Srinagar also assured students to provide help in all possible means for educational cause.
Concluding the session Syed Tabasum Geelani, chairman of Ehsaas International thanked all the experts and students who made this session successful to promote education for the betterment of society.
